WHAT DO I GET FOR THE MONEY? 
You get a monthly invitation to dinner with a great group of guys at a nice restaurant.  You will meet more available guys in a few months than youve met all last year.  There is absolutely no pressure--we are meeting for dinner!  You wont be standing around hoping someone will speak to you.  A host will welcome you and introduce you to others. Conversation at the table is easy and relaxed; the background music is at a volume level that encourages it. Contact info is shared, if you choose.  Everyone there is single, gay, and seeking more than a one-night-stand. They are all alone, not with a group of friends that you have to negotiate.  These guys are even employed.  Our members are regular guys, just as nice as you are.  What more could you want?*    

WHERE DOES THE MONEY GO? 
The dues finance the advertising that brings great guys to Out-n-About.  It also insures a certain commitment to the process of finding someone special, plus dues assure that members are reasonably established in the community.

IS THE GROUP OPEN TO MEN OF ALL RACES?
Absolutely, we enthusiastically embrace diversity.

CAN I COME INITIALLY AS A GUEST, JUST TO CHECK IT OUT?
Not really.  No one experience of the group can begin to stand for the entire experience of meeting monthly with a great group of guys, each committed to seeking a life partner. Isnt that what you want too?

HOW DO WE GET IN TOUCH WITH EACH OTHER AFTER THE DINNER?
At each dinner party members receive a list of the first names and phone number or each invited guest (exceptions made on request).

CAN I ATTEND MORE THAN ONE DINNER PARTY EACH MONTH?
Yes.  We maintain a list of men who are willing to fill in if we have a last minute cancellation.  There is no charge for this extra dinner invitation.  We also encourage members to socialize outside the dinner party and have talked about getting together for weekend trips or other bits of socializing, but so far it is only talk.

WHEN ARE THE DINNERS SCHEDULED?
Out-n-About plans dinner parties are usually scheduled for Friday or Saturday.  Consideration is given to each member's schedule. Guests are asked to meet at the restaurant at 7:30 where they will be greeted by an Out-n-About host. Dinner reservations are for 8 o'clock.

HOW DO I KNOW WHERE EVERYONE IS WHEN I GET TO THE RESTAURANT?
The Out-n-About host at the restaurant will greet you and direct you to the group.

WHAT IS THE APPROPRIATE ATTIRE?
More than a t-shirt and jeans, but less than a coat and tie.  Generally, the restaurants that we choose for the dinner parties are less formal. If this is not the case we will let you know ahead of time. We are aware that many of you are coming directly from work and will be dressed as such - that is not a problem.

HOW DO WE HANDLE THE BILL?
The server will help you decipher who owes what.  If you are uncomfortable with this arrangement, please request a separate check from your server when you order dinner.

WHAT IS YOUR REFERRAL POLICY?
For every member that you refer, you will receive a six-month extension of your membership. Please tell the person you refer to put your name on the application as "referred by:", so that we can keep it all straight!

WHAT BECOMES OF MY MEMBERSHIP ONCE I MEET MR. RIGHT? 
Your membership is moved to inactive status.  If you should become available at ANYTIME in the future, simply inform us and we can take up where we left off

HOW DO WE ACTUALLY MEET OTHER INDIVIDUALS IN THE GROUP?
We are a dining club, not a dating service or matchmaker. You will be introduced upon arrival, but it is your responsibility to speak with any particular individual and decide the level of continued interaction. Although it is our hope to provide interesting and compatible people of similar interest and background to meet, Out-n-About makes no representations or warranties regarding character, compatibility or background of its members.

HOW DO I JOIN?
Submit the application form on this site. Once your membership application has been submitted, you will be instructed where to send your check to complete the process.
